For 2012, Black Orchid Danse will offer several performance opportunities to dancers of all levels:

Performance Requirements:

Performance slots are open to workshop participants registered for 4 or more workshops. All accompanying musicians must register for at least 2 workshops.

The due date for workshops registration and performers application submission is the earlier of the date of when all performance slots are filled OR September 15, 2012.

Due to a very limited number of performance slots for the Gala Shows, priority will be given to workshop participants who have met a combination of the following:

• Registered for the SOF WEEKEND PACKAGE.
• Unique dance performance
• Extensive and professional dance resume; applicants for the Stars of Raqs Gala must have 5 or more years of professional dance experience
• Rising stars looking for a unique opportunity to experience the true essence of bellydance in a professional and international setting
• Approval of the Sponsor

For solos and duets, performance time is 6 minutes maximum.  For groups, performance time is 9 minutes maximum.

Once your performance application has been received and workshop registration verified, you will be emailed a performer’s package.  Please complete, sign the releases and return by the due date so as to ensure you will be listed in the Event Program.
